The AASA Vision Conference is coming up fast, and this year’s event features record-setting attendance, stellar speakers and networking with the executive teams from aftermarket channel partners. Customer companies participating in Vision to date include: Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Automotive Distribution Network, AutoZone, Federated Auto Parts, General Parts/NAPA, Hanson Distributing, Replacement Parts Inc., Uni-Select, Vast Automotive Distribution and VIPAR.
In preparing for this year’s record-setting crowd, AASA will draw on its internship experience program through Northwood University. AASA provides Northwood University students valuable networking opportunities and learning experiences at its events in cooperation with the University’s Aftermarket Management program. Students gain valuable experience both in assisting with event production and member services, and networking with industry leaders from top aftermarket companies.
At this year’s event, AASA member company East Penn will sponsor Bryan Fick, a freshman in Northwood’s Aftermarket Management program. A native of Macomb, Mich., his career goal is to become an excellent sales representative and market new products. Fick cites his greatest accomplishment to date as running his own booth at the Northwood University International Auto Show.
