Getting the Most Out of Your 2019 AAPEX Experience

Members of the AASA AAPEX Event Committee learned from three experts on how to get the most out of exhibiting at 2019 AAPEX at the group’s April meeting.
Andrew Shoushanian with Versacom Inc. discussed impactful tradeshow marketing and highlighted tips for reaching customers effectively and efficiently. Dave Saef, senior vice president, strategy, Freeman, presented an overview on creating memorable experiences that deliver on ROI. Chris Kalousek and Ryan Glasgow of W.T. Glasgow Inc., AAPEX show management, gave specifics on special features at this year’s event to enhance the exhibitor experience. The AAEC meeting concluded with a brainstorming exercise to spur members’ creativity in looking forward to maximizing their AAPEX efforts.
The AAEC is a forum for marketing and show management executives from AASA member companies to exchange ideas on ways to improve AAPEX return on investment (ROI) for exhibitors. The committee hosts monthly calls to meet a variety of exhibitor objectives: 
  • Educate: Hear from AAPEX vendors, industry & consumer media, and trade show & marketing experts
  • Inform: What’s happening “behind the scenes” in planning for AAPEX
  • Increase Exhibitor ROI: Get the most out of your AAPEX experience; receive data and statistics to help support goals
  • Assist: Exhibitor deadlines and reminders; help pre-show, on-site and post-show
  • Listen: A forum for exhibitors to provide input, voice concerns, make suggestions to improve the show
