Coming Up July 10 & 11: OAC Networking Reception, AASA Mexico Technology Summit During INA PAACE

AASA and its Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) have special events coming up soon at INA PAACE Automechanika, scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 through Friday, July 12 at the Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City.
The OAC will host its annual Networking Reception 7:45 – 9 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 10, at the Galeri Restaurant, Centro Citibanamex. It is a great way to close out the opening day of INA PAACE Automechanika by mingling with the leading aftermarket channel partner executives from Mexico and Central America. Tickets can be purchased here. The event is sponsored by Corteco, CRC, Gates, Temel Gaskets and TrakMotive.
AASA will present the Mexico Technology Summit during INA PAACE Automechanika, focusing on advancing the use of technology to grow Latin America’s aftermarket business. There is no cost to attend. The event, sponsored by TecAlliance and Epicor, will be held on Thursday, July 11, at the Centro Citibanamex in room Palacio de la Canal 9.
Attendees will include suppliers, technology providers, warehouse distributors, retailers and repair shops in Mexico and Latin America. AASA Senior Vice President Chris Gardner will open the event and highlight the event’s key discussion topics.
Presentations will include:
  • “Gaps Between Europe, U.S. and Mexican Technology Capabilities” -- Fernando Murguia Izaguirre, managing director, TecAlliance de México
  • “Product and Application Data for the Mexican Aftermarket” -- Epicor
  • “Data Analytics: Fastest Way to Fast Growth” -- Eucon
  • “Technology Trends That Will Impact the Mexican Aftermarket”
AASA and OAC members participating in INA PAACE Automechanika also are invited to attend the event’s VIP Breakfast from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, in Centro Citibanamex, immediately following the AASA Mexico Technology Summit. Speakers will include Leo Zuckerman addressing Political and Economic Expectations of Mexico’s New Government,” and Alejandra Pomar and Xavier Agiorre discussing “How to Become a Global Seller with eBay.” Members interested in attending should RSVP by Monday, July 8, to Caitlin Clements:
