RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Mark Finestone, executive vice president of merchandising for AutoZone, is the featured speaker for the “Customer Spotlight” at the upcoming 2019 Vision Conference, presented by the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) on Wednesday, April 3, at The Henry, Dearborn, Mich.

“Our Vision Conference ‘Customer Spotlight’ is one of the most popular segments of our annual event, and Mark’s insights will be particularly valuable to our supplier members at this time of transformation in the aftermarket industry,” said Bill Long, AASA president and chief executive officer. “We’re looking forward to his viewpoint about the current state of the aftermarket and his comments about AutoZone’s strategies in the face of our industry’s challenges and opportunities.”

Finestone joined AutoZone in 2002 and has held his current position since 2015. He is an active supporter of aftermarket industry efforts and currently serves as chairman of the Auto Care Association. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. degree in applied mathematics and business.

Finestone’s commentary in the AASA Vision Conference “Customer Spotlight” is part of the segment, “New Roads: Building New Channels for Collaboration,” exclusively for the association’s supplier members. The member-only segment, slated for the closing of the Conference, also will include “The Evolving Channel Model,” featuring a leader in automotive e-tailing.

The AASA Vision Conference is the association’s premier annual event and is dedicated to advancing the business interests of the aftermarket industry and the association’s members. With the exception of the closing segment, the Conference is open to suppliers and channel partners.

The 2019 event opens on Tuesday, April 2, with an industry networking reception at The Henry Ford Museum. The Conference convenes the morning of April 3 with industrywide sessions examining critical aftermarket business issues, such as:
