Brian Schultz is the IT Business Analysis Manager for Standard Motor Products, Inc. SMP is the leading manufacturer and distributor of engine management and temperature control products to the automotive aftermarket. Mr. Schultz has a proven track record of developing and managing innovative solutions through the use of technology to solve complex strategic business objectives. Mr. Schultz’s current responsibilities include information technology management and strategic planning for SMP’s critical business systems including all facets of the software development lifecycle. Mr. Schultz has over 25 years of experience as an information technology professional with 15 years in the automotive aftermarket industry. 

Mr. Schultz also has management experience in category management, product cataloging, content data management, pricing, and marketing. Prior to joining SMP, Mr. Schultz was the Director of Information Technology and Product Management at CompressorWorks, Inc. Prior to joining CompressorWorks, Mr. Schultz worked in many different industries including health care, restaurant operations, distribution, publishing, and information technology services. Mr. Schultz holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College, a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University, and multiple information technology professional certifications.
