AFFILIATE members are companies primarily engaged in the manufacture of brake materials such as chemicals and raw materials or other related supplies OR primarily engaged in quality control and testing of BMC member company products. They are not eligible to vote on matters affecting the council nor may they serve in elected positions on the BMC Board.
BMC “Brake Industry Special Needs” Fund
In addition to the annual fees above, all new BMC members will be assessed $2,000 to support the “special needs” fund for future legislative, regulatory and legal needs related to the brake industry. In the future, additional “special needs” contributions may be requested of all members, as determined by the BMC, and will be pro-rated based on total company contributions made to the fund to-date.
