
AASA’s China Aftermarket Forum (CAF) is a functioning peer council that operates in accordance with AASA principles and bylaws. The CAF provides an important forum for senior aftermarket executives of AASA member companies based in China. It provides opportunities for executives to network, gain market knowledge and share best practices with industry peers.
Membership
Regular Member – Regular members are AASA supplier members in good standing with aftermarket operations in China. Regular members in good standing of MEMA’s other three divisions who meet AASA membership criteria are also eligible to join. Those divisions are:

MERA: The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing

OESA: Original Equipment Manufacturers Association
Affiliate Member – Affiliate members must be an Affiliate member in good standing of AASA, HDMA, MERA or OESA who meet AASA Affiliate membership criteria. Affiliate Members provide technology solutions, consulting and other services to regular members of any of the four divisions.
Affiliate Member count is limited to 25% of total Regular Member count. Affiliate members do not serve in positions of council leadership and have no voting rights on CAF matters. They might be excluded from supplier-member only portions of meetings/council discussions

Meetings
The group meets quarterly in Shanghai. Sample topics from past meetings include market research, talent development, remanufacturing, intellectual property protection, insurance reform, e-tailing, government regulations, distribution channels and much more.
