Vice President of Engagement
Ben Brucato started his first job in the automotive aftermarket at the age of 16, working in a Fiat repair shop in his hometown of Bologna, Italy. After moving to the United States, Ben studied International Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
His aftermarket career continued while working as a technician for TBC Corporation before and during college. After graduation, he took a regional technical training and sales position with Airtex Fuel Pumps. Ben worked for Airtex and UCI Fram Group, the parent organization, for 6 years and managed the national sales team before his departure to take a position at the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).
At AASA, Ben manages the engagement aspect of the association, which includes membership, sponsorship, marketing & communications, as well as responsibilities for the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Modern Industry eXpertise (MiX), the Marketing Executives Council (MEC), and the Brake Manufacturing Council (BMC).
Having started on the service side of the business, transferring over to the supplier/manufacturing side and now at an aftermarket association, it gives Ben a very wide and encompassing view of the industry.
