June 18, 2007 Senator Carl Levin delivering a speech in Michigan on June 18, 2007 on the government’s work to seize counterfeit auto parts and components. Senator Levin used side by side comparisons of genuine and counterfeit parts in his presentation. Levin has been a champion on many Washington issues affecting the automotive industry and other manufacturers. Senator Levin is a co-sponsor of the S. 522, the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Act. Click here for pictures of the event.

Bayh’s office on anti-counterfeiting legislation, S. 522 The Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Act. Brian Duggan from the Washington Office will be contacting BPC members in the coming weeks to build support and co-sponsorship for the bill. “
