  • Purpose of the booth was to promote the importance of intellectual property rights protection, display examples of counterfeit automotive parts and their potential safety issues, highlight the importance of branding and promote the QBPC organization
  • Other sponsors include Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and European Automobile Manufacturers Association
  • 24 companies participated and displayed examples of their branded products along with counterfeit parts.
  • The following AASA CAF members were among the 24: Bosch, Continental, Delphi, DuPont, Febi, Federal-Mogul, Gates, Honeywell, Tenneco, TRW
  • 6,500 individuals visited booth.
  • Visitors included brand owners (parts manufacturers), media, government officials, vehicle owners and foreign parts buyers.
