Technology has been a driver of internal processes for decades, but now it is at the core of customer-facing interactions and transactions. The growing number of tools, software packages, cloud-based applications and mobile devices forces aftermarket suppliers to dedicate resources to understanding them and identifying the best ways to deploy them. That is a large part of what the AASA Technology Council (ATC) is all about – helping members gain a clearer picture of the best direction for their companies relative to business technology.

The ATC and its two annual events have grown steadily over the past few years, and members frequently tell the board and association staff how many “gold nuggets” they take home and are able to implement. Join the ATC if your company is not a member. Get involved with the conference calls and two annual events if you are a member. You will only learn when you are willing to share, attend, participate, network and engage. Your company will benefit from the topics we address, including customer-required data standards, blending of business/marketing and IT, cloud-based applications, current aftermarket customer initiatives and much more.

The ATC board of governors believes so strongly in the Council’s activities that we commit resources to the committees, working groups and event planning efforts.
