AASA is the only organization which exclusively represents the legislative and regulatory interests of the North American automotive aftermarket supplier industry. Members benefit from AASA’s access, intelligence, analysis and advocacy
on a wide range of public policy issues. AASA also provides forums
through member committees and task forces to discuss issues and respond
with responsible policy positions.
Brand Protection
Intellectual property can be a manufacturer’s most valuable asset. Intellectual property rights (IPR) violations can come in many forms and AASA / MEMA created the Brand Protection Committee to specifically address issues related to brand protection and intellectual property rights.
Know Your Parts
Know Your Parts®, the industry awareness campaign spearheaded by AASA works to demonstrate the differences between low quality parts and brand name parts backed by Full Service Aftermarket Suppliers. The AASA Know Your Parts® campaign is an initiative of the association and the AASA Marketing Executives Council (MEC).
